China, first month

China, only a few days here and it feels like months already. Wow it's a crazy place, people a lottt of people every where, with know one really know one who understands you or who is even interested in you. People are load, sound agree in my ears and are eat everything that is a live. Dogs, turtles, sneaks, all kind of fish and frogs are normal things to find in a cage outside most of the restaurants.
My second day they stole my money and passport and trust me the police here does not do much more than smoking their cigarette ;) ;(... But lucky for me (because of the strict regime) they always hand in the passport again. So two hours later I was really happy again when they handed me back my passport!!
I am in the middle of my travel again and loving it. Traveled most of the time together with a dutch friend Mariele which was amazing. We went cycling in the country side of Yangshuo with mountain peeks, rice fields and little bamboo boats floating down the li-river.
After that we spend a few days walking from village to village true valleys full of rice terraces, most impressive places where everything is still brought up the hill by horse and man. Woman making handcrafts all day and children just playing out in the field. I was welcomed to join a Chinese funeral which was really intense, crying woman, animals being offered and making music all night long...
The country is big, already had a few train rides of 14, 22 hours but there are many more to come... I am thinking of maybe working here or extending my stay here a bit but we will see...
